REFRESH:
Read: Exodus 20:1-17
Relate: What does this passage say about God? How
does this apply to my life?
Respond: Take a moment and write your thoughts to
God.
REVEAL:
2 Corinthians 7:1 reminds us that we need
to get rid of everything that contaminates us.
This morning take a few minutes and look around your room and as you do
ask Jesus to show you anything that is causing you to stumble in your faith.
Now its demo time!
That’s right – when items are revealed to you in
your room get rid of them! Posters, video games, inappropriate clothes,
cigarettes, videos, drugs, alcohol, magazines, etc.
Why stop with your room? Look at your iPod, iPad, smart phone. Even
look in your car. Delete it! Trash it!
Smash it! But don’t sell it!
Even adults need to ask God about the things you
need to change in your life to be a better follower of Jesus Christ.
REFLECT:
How was your day? Was it hard to demo? What did you
learn?
